We love coming to stay at Glenlyon! Christine and Joe are so welcoming and helpful - going above and beyond every time. Not only is it really convenient for working at the NEC, but staying in the beautiful house with views over the garden, and lovely breakfast, makes it more like being on holiday. That’s why we've been back three years in a row!

I have stayed at Glenylon three times while visiting Crufts dog show at NEC. Hampton in Arden is just a three minutes ride (by train) from Birmingham airport and NEC and Glenlyon is very close to the station, a couple of minutes walk. The owners, Christine and Joe are very friendly, helpful and welcoming and makes you feel at home immediately.
The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is lovely, served in the spacious breakfast room and you're given the option of what you wish to eat. Free Wifi with strong signal. Hampton in Arden is a nice little village with two pubs within walking distance, both serving very good food.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting West Midlands and particularly if you would like to stay close to Birmingham airport and NEC

Glenlyon is an extremely pleasant place to stay within easy reach of the NEC. Christine and Joe are excellent hosts, happy to oblige with anything that you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The tasteful bedrooms are spacious, light and airy with smart en-suite bathrooms. The delicious breakfast is provided at a time to suit you. The premises is within easy walking distance of several excellent restaurants situated within the village and a stones throw from a direct trainline to the NEC and Birmingham. Highly recommended.
